Mojito
Ingredients
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 tsp granulated sugar
- small handful mint leaves, plus extra sprig to serve
- 60ml white rum
- soda water, to taste
How to mix
- Muddle the Julie of 1 Lime, 1 tsp sugar and handful of mint leaves in a small jug, crushing the mint as you go – you can use the end of a rolling pin for this. Pour into a tall glass and add a handful of ice.
- Pour over the 60ml rum, stirring with a long-handled spoon. Top up with soda water, garnish with mint and serve.
Wicked Whisky Sour
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoons simple syrup
- 4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 145ml whisky
- 1 cupful ice cubes
- 3 cocktail cherries for garnish
How to mix
- Combine the simple 2 tbsp syrup, 4 tbsp lemon juice and 145ml Jameson whisky in a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice. Cover and shake for about 30 seconds, until the shaker is frosty. Strain into martini glasses and garnish with a cocktail cherry.
This can also be served in tumblers full of ice.
Gin Fizz
Ingredients
- 50ml gin
- 25ml lemon juice
- 2 tsp sugar syrup
- ice
- sparkling water
- lemon slice
How to mix
- Pour 50ml gin, 25ml lemon juice and 2 tsp sugar syrup in a cocktail shaker and fill up with ice cubes.
- Shake well until the outside of the shaker feels cold then strain into a tall glass filled with more ice and top up with sparkling water. Garnish with a lemon slice.
